The Bad Blogger.
That's me. I'm terrible at this. I thought I would really enjoy it and I do when I remember to post stuff. Oops. For my followers...and I think there's only 1...I promise I will try to do better.
If you feel like you need a fix of what's going on in my daily life...I vacuumed today...under the sofas and everything. And I cleaned the kitchen minus the mopping....which really needs to be done. Right now it's just me and Elijah hanging out. Will took Ephraim to get a haircut...they both need one. Elijah needs one too, but I'm thinking maybe I'll let his hair grow out a little. Any thoughts?
Will is bringing home a bucket of chicken for dinner...I'm really looking forward to it. That's about as exciting as my day has been.

Men are babies.
My kids and I have been pretty sick for the past couple of weeks. My husband finally caught whatever it was that we had...some sort of the flu but without the vomiting. My husband acts worse than a child when he is sick. He's completely selfish and wants to be babied. Well, he didn't take very good care of me when I was sick...so it was too bad for him. For 3 days I had no strength or energy and could barely get off of the sofa. And yet I still had to be the mother and get my kids breakfast, take Ephraim to the bus stop, get Elijah snacks and lunch, get Ephraim from the bus stop, get them snacks, make their dinner, give them baths and put them to bed. Meanwhile, my husband who is feeling fine, is sleeping. He works part of the night, getting off at 1 AM but stays up until 4 or 5 playing computer games and watching TV. Besides taking care of my kids, my husband needed clean clothes for work. So I had to do that as well. And then he informed me that the house was really messy and needed to be cleaned up. Not once did he offer to help me. He did not offer to get Ephraim on the bus. He did not offer to make the kids lunch. He did not offer to do his own laundry while he was staying up at night doing nothing. And after "things" didn't get done for 3 days, the kitchen wasn't clean, the living room wasn't picked up...he finally did it. Now I have no sympathy whatsoever for him. When he tells me how bad he feels I remind me of all the things he did not do for me when I felt ill.
